Duration: 2hours (+15mins checkin time)

Location: Yerta Bulti, Cruikshanks Beach, inner Port River. Kaurna Country, Birkenhead, SA. 

Ground yourself on Country with Aunty Susie leading a breath and sensory session, followed by Elise Lavers, Paddle Australia SUP instructor leading a stand up paddle boarding session on the inner Port River. 

Your ticket already includes the hire of a board, paddle, leash, lifejacket, as well as your guide, insurance, phone photos of your experience, towel hire and a cup of herbal tea! If you’re lucky, you might get to spot a local Bottlenosed Dolphin. 

5:45am - guest arrive, meet and greet, check-in. Ensure waivers are completed.

6:00am - Grounding on Country with Aunty Susie

6:30am - on-land stand up paddle boarding lesson

7:00am - Hit the water with SUP boards

8:00am - session concludes


Please arrive 15minutes prior to the session starting to allow for check-in. 

There are no toilets at Cruikshank's beach, so please visit a public toilet before you arrive. 

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Comfy clothes/ bathers/ active wear that can get wet.
  • Warm layers, just in case! On cold days, we recommend thermals (if you have them), polar fleece, marino, and raincoats! Don't worry if you don't have these items, just wear layers that you can put on or take off if needed.
  • A dry change of clothes for afterwards
  • Water bottle
  • Hat
  • Sunnies (at your own risk!)
  • Sunscreen
  • Shoes that can get wet to protect your feet

WHAT WE PROVIDE:

  • Board, paddle, leash and lifejacket for everyone
  • Hand Sanitiser
  • Photos of you during your paddle
  • A cosy towel to use afterwards
  • A cup of herbal tea
  • +any equipment you have hired as an extra (eg booties and jackets)

If the weather forecast is unfavourable, we may need to relocate or postpone, but we will be in touch if this is required.
